Timeline for Success

Oct-Dec 2024

Programme Planning

This phase involves contracting, conducting programme briefings, and considering the audience. We set budgets, plan the timeline, and define gifting selections. Sustainability considerations are integrated, and we launch the project portal.

Jan-Mar 2025

Brand Integration + Design

During this stage, we focus on design development and brand integration, including both bespoke and retail collaborations. We work on storyboarding and secure approvals from the client and organising committee, ensuring brand consistency across all products.

Apr-Sep 2025

Sourcing + Production

We manage licensee and non-licensee sourcing, conduct sampling, and prepare orders. Working with suppliers, we develop pre-production samples, focusing on quality, fit, and durability. We also kick off the lifecycle assessments for each item.

Oct- 2025

Logistics + Shipping + Data Review

We monitor shipping schedules and manage customs clearance. Freight forwarders are coordinated, data is reviewed, and timelines are adjusted as needed to ensure smooth delivery.

Nov- 2025 to Feb-2026

Fulfilment + Delivery + Data Processing

This phase involves receiving goods, conducting quality control, and placing them in secure storage. We manage inventory and finalise guest + staff data processing. Delivery schedules are confirmed and the process culminates in pick, pack, and fulfilment.

Jan to Feb-2026

On Site Support

We provide managed delivery and unloading services, handle merchandise exchange, and support distribution. Room drops and gift deliveries are organised, along with tailoring services. We plan for liquidation and the return shipment of materials.

Key insights

Our founders’ view on making the most from the upcoming FIFA World Cup

Design

Weather

This World Cup is going to be hot! And possibly cold. With the tournament spread out from Vancouver in the north to Mexico City in the south, the temperatures are expected to range from 36°C / 97°F to 8°C / 46°F overnight. If your teams are travelling across the tournament then you should keep this in-mind with layering and expanded collections. Also look to provide resources to help with heat stress.

Inclusion

While themes of inclusion are less front and centre at the World Cup, than say a Paralympic Games or Womens' World Cup, we think this represents a good opportunity for a brand to stand out from the crowd.

Production

Sustainability

FIFA haven't yet released detailed crtieria for supplied items at the event. However they have pledged to measure and reduce emissions across the full supply chain. Aim for local production with low-emissions materials.

Suppliers

With global trade undergoing a major re-organisation, producing locally will be both the most sustainable and reliable approach for your merchandise.

Materials

Breathable fabrics will be key due to the high temperatures and humid conditions.

Logistics

Transport

Logistics will be the other high-performance activity on show at this World Cup alongside the football! With an average distance of 1,700 km between stadiums across three time zones, ensuring all your team and kit arrive at the right location at the right time will be a monumental challenge.

Borders

Ensuring smooth deliveries across three tightly managed borders is going to be another unique challenge of this event. We'll monitor FIFA's guidance on this matter and work to receive special dispensation when available.
